Pennhill Watermelon (Dinner Plate)
Pennhill Watermelon is a fun, large, silly dahlia that has a playful vibe. Weird for a flower to have, but I’ve noticed it. The plant grows massively into a bush, and quickly. Then it begins offering these creamsicle-like, informal-decorative dinner plate sized dahlias that pop like a summer sunrise. They burst open without hesitation, as a fairly quick bloomer and consistent with its offerings. They blooms begin to change shapes and sizes as the weeks go on, giving it that unique personality among dinner plate varieties that typically feel more stoic in character (at least to me? haha!).

Colour - Think sunrise. Whisps of pink and orange hues, each one unique. Sometimes dominantly pink, sometimes mostly orange.
